Dear WAMFT Members,

I’m writing to share an important update regarding our organization.

Cary Ambler, who has served as our Program Manager, has decided to move on from her position. We are deeply grateful for the more than six years Cary has dedicated to WAMFT. Her contributions have had a meaningful impact—especially in the growth and success of our annual conference—and we sincerely thank her for her service.

As we look ahead, we are excited to share that WAMFT is transitioning from the Program Manager role to a new position: Administrative and Operations Support Coordinator. This shift reflects our commitment to building more reliable systems that will support smoother operations and more timely communication with our members.

We are pleased to welcome Elif Caron, who will begin in this new role on March 25th. During this transition and onboarding period, members of the Executive Committee and Board will be assisting with administrative responsibilities.

We appreciate your patience as we navigate this transition. If you experience any issues with event registration or have questions and do not receive a response within 48–72 hours, please feel free to reach out to me directly at president@wamft.org.

I also want to extend my sincere thanks to our dedicated Board and Executive Committee members who have stepped up to support WAMFT during this time. I am continually grateful for their commitment and passion for serving our membership.

Thank you for being part of our community.

Warmly,

Billie Tyler

WAMFT President
