We are officially counting down the days to the 2026 WAMFT Annual Conference, and this year, we have something extra special to celebrate.

WAMFT is turning 💛50💛!

For five decades, the Washington Association for Marriage & Family Therapy has been a place for learning, advocacy, professional growth, mentorship, friendship, and connection. Generations of marriage and family therapists have helped shape this community, and on Friday night of our conference, we’re bringing everyone together to celebrate the people and stories that brought us here, the community we are today, and everything still ahead of us.

Tickets $30 per person

**Please note this is a community fundraising event intended for adults***

Youth ages 4-12: $15

Children: 3 & Under: Free

This isn't just a conference reception. It's a birthday party 50 years in the making.

The 50th Anniversary Celebration is open to WAMFT members past and present, and their guests, even if you aren't attending the conference.

Maybe WAMFT was part of your professional life years ago. Maybe you served on a committee or board, presented at a conference, found a mentor through the association, made lifelong colleagues, or simply remember a WAMFT gathering that mattered to you.

You are part of this history, too.

We would love to welcome former members, longtime members, newer members, colleagues, friends, and the people who have helped make this community what it is.

Bring your partner. Bring an old WAMFT friend. Text the colleague you haven't seen in years and tell them, "We're going."

The 2026 WAMFT Annual Conference: Roots for Connection: Deepening Systemic Practice in Changing Times takes place September 25–26 at Great Wolf Lodge.

Across two days, we'll gather for learning, continuing education, keynotes, breakout sessions, poster presentations, exhibitors, conversations, and opportunities to reconnect with the broader relational and systemic therapy community.

This year's conference brings together clinicians, supervisors, educators, students, researchers, and colleagues from across our field, and we cannot wait to finally welcome you.
