Share Your Story. Preserve Our Legacy.
For 50 years, the Washington Association for Marriage and Family Therapy has been more than a professional organization, it has been a community.
It has been a place where lifelong friendships began, mentors shaped careers, students found their professional home, and clinicians came together to support one another through the ever-changing landscape of our profession.
As we prepare to celebrate WAMFT's 50th Anniversary at this year's Annual Conference, we'd love your help telling our story. Whether you've been a member for 50 years or joined us this year, your experiences are part of WAMFT's history.
We're inviting members, past leaders, students, supervisors, educators, and friends of WAMFT to share:
Favorite conference memories
Photos from conferences, workshops, retreats, or chapter events
Stories about mentors or colleagues who made a difference
Funny moments that still make you smile
Milestones, achievements, or meaningful experiences
Reflections on what WAMFT has meant to your professional journey
Words of encouragement for the next generation of Marriage and Family Therapists
Throughout our 50th Anniversary celebration, we hope to feature many of these memories during the conference, on social media, and in future WAMFT communications (with your permission).
Every Story Matters
Sometimes it's the smallest moments that stay with us. Whatever your memory may be, we would love to hear it.
Maybe it was your first conference. Maybe it was meeting your supervisor. Maybe it was presenting for the first time. Maybe it was finding a community that reminded you why this work matters.
Share Your WAMFT Story
Please take a few minutes to complete our 50th Anniversary Memory Form and help us celebrate the people, relationships, and moments that have shaped WAMFT over the past five decades.
Together, let's honor our past while planting the roots for the next 50 years of connection.
Thank you for being part of the WAMFT community. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

If you still need accommodations, don't worry, there may still be options available.
Great Wolf Lodge has been wonderful to work with and is doing their best to accommodate additional conference attendees whenever possible. We encourage you to contact Great Wolf Lodge Central Reservations directly and let them know:
