WAMFT family, we are getting closer and closer to one of the most exciting conferences yet, and we want YOU to be part of it!

Submit your proposal today!

Our deadlines for workshop proposals and poster presentations are quickly approaching, and we are so eager to learn from the incredible wisdom, creativity, and passion within our community. One of the things that makes WAMFT so special is the way we continue to show up for one another: sharing ideas, challenging ourselves, supporting growth, and building meaningful connection across generations of therapists and healers.

This year’s theme, Roots for Connection: Deepening Systemic Practice in Changing Times, invites us to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the foundations of systemic practice. And honestly? We think this year’s conference is going to be the best one yet.

We absolutely cannot wait to announce our keynote speakers this year… trust us, you are NOT going to believe it!

A Conference the Whole Family Can Enjoy!

This year’s conference will take place at the amazing Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, Washington. The resort features a large indoor water park, family activities, and comfortable lodging, all in one place.

Even better: access to the water park is included with your room reservation, making it easy to combine professional development with a little family fun.

We encourage you to book early, as rooms within the conference block are limited.

This conference is especially meaningful as we gather to celebrate WAMFT’s 50th Anniversary! Fifty years of community, advocacy, learning, mentorship, and systemic care. We are deeply honored to celebrate this milestone with all of you and to continue imagining what the next 50 years can look like together.

As part of celebrating WAMFT’s big 5-0, we are also inviting our community to consider making a symbolic $50 donation to support the future of WAMFT, our programming, scholarships, advocacy efforts, and continued community-building work.

And perhaps most importantly: we want to hear from YOU!

How has WAMFT impacted your life, career, relationships, or professional journey over the years? What memories, stories, mentors, or moments stand out to you? We would love to collect and celebrate reflections from our community as part of this anniversary year. Email us your stories, photos, memories, and favorite WAMFT moments at conference@wamft.org

We would love to celebrate, reflect, and reminisce with you as we honor 50 years of community, connection, learning, and growth together. We cannot wait to learn with you, celebrate with you, and continue supporting this incredible community for another 50 years and beyond!

We look forward to seeing you in September!
