⭐️Special Election Ballot⭐️ Proposal for Membership Dues Increase for 2026...Check out this Video 📺 👀

Hey everyone! Check out this conversation with your Membership Service Chair (Astrik) and Treasurer (Rochelle) here at WAMFT, as we breakdown the new proposal on the voting ballot that will be sent out to membership at 8am on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Ballots will close on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 11:59pm.

So what is this proposal? Our WAMFT Board is proposing an increase of membership dues to help ensure the future protection for our license to practice here in Washington. WAMFT has not increased fees in at least eight years and we have reached our capacity at our current membership dues income level. So in order to maintain a current value, the board acknowledges we need to increase our dues starting January 2026.

Wondering what the new rate will be? Here is the proposed increase:

⭐️ Professional membership going from $100 to a new rate of $120 annually

⭐️ Students membership going from $10 to a new rate of $20 annually.
