Professional Wills: Therapists Edition

We work hard as therapists to build our practices, develop course materials, write books, and produce other great things for the world that are part of our “intellectual property”. But how much time have you invested into protecting your business? Professional wills is a way we as therapists can have a legal document outline how we want our practices and/or other intellectual properties to be managed when we can no longer do so ourselves.

Learning Objectives Include:

*Exploring Participants’ Thoughts and Feelings about Wills (whether personal or professional), and identify resistance one might have to the topic.

*Identify all the factors that must be addressed in a Professional Will

*Review of a Model Professional Will
