About the Event

May 12th: A Conversation with PAT Practitioners hosted by Bethany Suppes, PhD, LMFT, AAMFT-Approved Supervisor

In the last 5 years, we have seen an explosion of training and literature around the use of Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and its use for resistant treatment depression and other mental health issues. WAMFT is excited to reveal that this year for our Spring Ethics Series, we will host an in-depth understanding of the use of Psychedelic Assisted Therapy. Come and understand the historic use of these substances through the knowledge of indigenous and ancient peoples, knowing the law (past, present and future) in Washington State, learning the implications of its use by your clients and become up to date on the research.

Each Friday in May (5, 12, 19 and 26th) from 9am-11am, we will feature specifically curated speakers who will enhance your ethical understanding on this topic in ways that have not been covered previously. Presenter agreements are being finalized and specific session details will be announced as soon as contracts are signed.
