This asynchronous, on-demand distance learning program explores how we can be ethical therapists and successful business owners. Learning Objectives: - Identify three distinct Business Models (Solo Private Practice, Group Practice, Collective model) and viable approaches towards each of these paths. They will also understand the distinct ethical concerns involved with each of them - Learn at least four ethical issues related to business structure and practice (fees, boundaries, capacity, scale), and be able to clearly apply ethical decision making to these issues. - Demonstrate application of three new ethical recommendations from AAMFT January in relationship to business development and maintenance issues. Participants who successfully complete the course and required assessment will earn 2 Law & Professional Ethics Continuing Education Hours and receive a certificate of completion.
