Handouts (if applicable) will be posted to WHOVA and the WAMFT Website for participants to access and print at their own will. Payment Agreement & Information:

In total, WAMFT agrees to pay the Presenter's Fee of $750.00 upon completion of the terms of this agreement via Zelle or Bank Issued Check, sent by Rochelle Pope, WAMFT Treasurer. If alternative payment arrangements are needed, please contact her via email: treasurer@wamft.org

WAMFT agrees to pay a flat rate, inclusive of all expenses of: $750.00

By checking this box Presenter agrees to be paid a flat rate, inclusive of all expenses, for providing a keynote presentation at the 2025 WAMFT Annual Conference, in the amount of: $750.00

By checking this box Presenter agrees to confer with the WAMFT President-Elect & Conference Chair (Claudia Johnson) to include, as appropriate the conference theme, components of WA State Law & Ethics, ASSECT, and/or CME training to be counted toward specific tracks at the conference event.

By checking this box Presenter agrees to provide digital presentations for conference attendees. The event facility will provide laptop, projector, screen and recording/streaming equipment. Presenter will bring a flash drive with their presentation loaded and ready to use.

By checking this box Presenter agrees to provide all printed/digitally distributed materials for the presentation at least 14 days prior to the event. WAMFT will provide certificate to attendees documenting CE hours (as applicable).

WAMFT Points of Contact

Presenter agrees to maintain contact with WAMFT staff to develop and coordinate the WAMFT Annual Conference within the terms and conditions of this agreement. Please work with our conference chair, as your primary point of contact. In the unlikely circumstance the conference chair is unable to fulfill their role the Treasurer will serve in this capacity. All agreements, contracts and financial needs will be authorized by the Treasurer and/or President per association by laws.

Cancellation Clause

This agreement may be canceled under the following circumstances:

a natural or public disaster rendering the program unfeasible;
serious illness or family death should incapacitate Presenter.
In the unlikely situation where the Presenter should be unable to fulfill the Presenter's obligations, the Presenter will not expect further reimbursement from WAMFT and will refund 100% of any and all fees, minus documented expenses previously paid to WAMFT.
If the event is cancelled by WAMFT or Presenter for any reason including natural or public disaster, Presenter will work with WAMFT to rebook on a mutually convenient date with no penalty.
If program is cancelled due to natural or public disaster and not rebooked, WAMFT shall not be responsible for the Presenter's fee but should reimburse the Presenter for any sums already expended related to the event.
If program is cancelled by WAMFT and not rescheduled, 50% of Presenter's fee will be considered full and complete settlement and is non-refundable

Facilities

WAMFT shall be responsible for preparing the venue. Seating arrangements should ensure that no attendees have their backs to the speaker or to the screen upon which visual aids are projected. Lighting should permit comfortable viewing of visual aids without excessive darkness or screen washout.

Exhibitor Space

Presenter will bring various physical and/or digital products and books to the event location and offer these items for sale at the event. WAMFT will provide a skirted table in a prominent location for Presenter's products to be displayed and sold in the event Exhibitor space (physical and virtual locations) as discussed and agreed upon. Presenter is responsible for set up of virtual exhibitor space prior to August 20, 2025

Publicity

Advertising and public relations of this event is the sole responsibility of WAMFT.
The Presenter agrees to participate in promotional opportunities as appropriate including joining the WAMFT podcast and creating video shorts for social media.
The Presenter agrees to share the event on their social media outlets at their discretion.
The Presenter grants WAMFT the use of their name, likeness, picture and biographical information to promote or publicize Presenter's presentation or to authorize other so do the same.
Publicity materials provided by the Presenter will include: digital photograph of Presenter, biographical information, Presenter One-Sheet, sizzle reel, media kit and presentation description including bullet points suitable for promotional purposes.
INTRODUCTION: An introduction for the Presenter will be provided to announcer to use and agrees to have the introducer read and/or play video in its entirety.

Photo/Video/Recording Consent

I authorize the Washington Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (WAMFT), to take photographs, videos and recordings of me and my property in connection with this specific WAMFT event.
I authorize WAMFT to use such photographs, videos and recordings with my name for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to, education, web content, and the WAMFT Online Library and Podcast.
WAMFT agrees to provide the Presenter with a digital copy of all photos captured of the Presenter and the full video recording of the Presenter's keynote within 30-days of the presentation.

Agreement

This agreement, all sections and details included contains all terms and conditions agreed upon by the parties. No other understandings, oral or otherwise, regarding the subject matter of this agreement shall be deemed to exist or to bind any of the parties hereto, except by an official addendum issued, agreed to and signed by all parties below.

My submission of this form, as the Presenter, indicates that I agree to present a conference keynote on Friday September 19, 2025.
