Session Description
MFTs, with their systemic thinking, have many more ways to explore creating change beyond the intra and interpersonal levels. Taking your passion for change and forming an organizational non-profit is one way to grow influence in your passion area, enhance your practice, and work on a higher impact level. That said, it’s not a easy road. Sar, the founder and director emeritus of the Consent Academy, will talk about their experience, the issues you will need to consider, some pitfalls to watch out for, and some of the advantages of working at this level of change. Audience participation and questions are welcome and encouraged.

- Participants will identify a passion of theirs that could be turned into a non-profit change organization.
- Participants will work on understanding if creating a non-profit is right for them and their practice.
- Participants will understand at least 2 advantages of starting a non-profit.
