Get to Know Michele Sullivan
Michele Sullivan, MS, LMFT, (she/her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She currently serves as Secretary of WAMFT and previously served as Treasurer. Michele earned her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University. In her private practice, she passionately assists individuals and relationships in reclaiming their stories from the chaotic intersection of trauma and substance use. Prior to private practice, Michele spent thirteen years working in community mental health and substance use disorder treatment. Her research focuses on integrating narrative therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Complex Integration of Multiple Brain Systems (CIMBS). In her leisure time, Michele prefers spending time in nature with her dog, backcountry skiing, alpine rock climbing, SCUBA diving, or, when indoors, building puzzles and LEGOs and reading.
