Get to Know Claudia Johnson

Claudia Johnson, MA, LMFT, CST, ABS is a Latina Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, and an approved Clinical Supervisor in Washington. Currently serving as an At-Large Board Member of WAMFT, she also chairs the Technology and Networking Committee. Claudia earned her master's degree in Couple and Family Therapy with a Sex Therapy Concentration from Antioch University Seattle. In her private practice, she passionately assists individuals and relationships in exploring and reclaiming their sexual narratives. Her research focus delves into the intersection of sexuality and religion, with a keen interest in how gender and marginalized identities experience and express sexual pleasure, particularly within LatinX communities. Claudia is pursuing her PhD in Human Sexuality at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, concurrently working as an adjunct faculty member at Antioch University Seattle in the CFT department
