Devrim Özkan is a passionate advocate for mental health and systemic change, currently serving as Co-President of Delta Kappa, Alpha Zeta Chapter, the International Marriage and Family Therapy Honor Society. As a graduating student of a COAMFTE-accredited Couple and Family Therapy program, she specializes in attachment-based approaches and Somatic EMDR, emphasizing the integration of body and mind in the healing process. Devrim is particularly passionate about working with people affected by immigration, helping clients navigate identity, relational, and cultural challenges in a compassionate and supportive environment.
As the Pre-Clinical Representative of WAMFT, Devrim focuses on fostering mentorship opportunities for emerging therapists and creating study groups aimed at helping graduates on their paths to licensure. By empowering new professionals, they seek to support the growth of marriage and family therapy throughout Washington State.
