Get to Know Charity Laughlin

Charity Francis Laughlin, LMFTA (MA | Seattle University) has served as board member at-large for WAMFT since 2020 and works in independent group practice in Bellevue, Washington, providing clinical services for couples and individuals experiencing distress around aspects of relationships and sexuality. Her research interests include sexual desire in its many facets, including desire discrepancy, maintaining sexual desire in long-term relationships, the intersection of desire with spirituality and creativity, and the relationship between attachment and sexual desire. Charity also brings to her work with WAMFT prior experience in finance and administration. In her free time, Charity enjoys spending time with family and friends, practicing yoga, reading, making art, skiing, and being by the ocean.
