WAMFT Clinical Members:  Utilize the WAMFT Referral Service to Grow Your Practice

By registering with the WAMFT Referral Service, you can increase your client base.

This service provides more than 1,500 referrals annually for individuals, couples, and families throughout the state!

The Referral Service database includes only WAMFT Clinical Members throughout Washington State. The motivation to set up the free Referral Service came in response to increasing requests for experienced, qualified psychotherapists who specialize in individual, couple and family therapy.

AAMFT Therapist Locator Service:

As you may already know, the national office of AAMFT is offering a free, web-based therapist locator service. They are very supportive of our statewide Referral Service and intend for the therapist locator to be a complementary program to our service. The national office believes in our program because it offers a personal and live connection to the public. They also think the ways in which we are and will be marketing the service are very important and something they can't do on the national level.
The two programs fit well together, tailored to different needs of the potential client. WAMFT encourages you to make use of both the state Referral Service and the National Therapist Locator Service.
