or rave – that you would like to share with our membership? Beginning
with the next issue, the WAMFT newsletter will have a Letters to
the Editor feature! Please submit your comments.
Let your voice be heard!

Have you discovered a book that you think would be
valuable reading for fellow MFTs? How about a movie that offers
professional value to your colleagues or clients? The WAMFT
newsletter is looking for a few good writers to do the occasional
book or movie review. Word length should be roughly 400-600
words. We would like to feature at least one such piece in every
issue, but would welcome more than one writer’s perspective. Again,
the deadline is May 1.

As you have seen featured in past issues, the WAMFT
newsletter welcomes and encourages member perspective pieces
– articles that portray specific clinical experiences that offer
educational and/or inspirational insights to your colleagues.
Approximate word length should be 800-1,200 words.

Newsletter Advertising
The WAMFT newsletter is distributed to the more than 900 WAMFT members throughout the state.
Copies are also distributed to other mental health care organizations and leaders.
WAMFT members volunteer their time to produce this publication, and article submissions and both
display and classified advertising are welcome (ad rates below) from both members and nonmembers.

- April 1 - Deadline for Spring newsletter (for publication June 1).
- Aug. 1 - Deadline for Fall newsletter (for publication Oct. 1).
- Dec. 1 - Deadline for Winter newsletter (for publication Feb. 1).

Display ad format: Display ads must be received as high-resolution PDF
files, black & white only, with all fonts embedded.
If ads are not copy-ready,
a $30.00 design fee is required.
Classified ads:
- Up to 25 words = $15 for AAMFT members, $20 for nonmembers
- 26-50 words = $30 for members, $37 for nonmembers
- 51-100 words = $50 for members, $65 for nonmembers
WAMFT
Mailing List
The WAMFT mailing
list of more than 900 members statewide can be purchased on disk or
labels. Purchase of the list is for one-time usage only, for the
following fees:
1) An Excel file that can be
sent electronically (email) or mailed via disk that can be merged into
your database: $100 for members/$150 for nonmembers, plus $20 handling charge.
2)
A full or partial list of members
printed onto labels, sorted to your specifications and mailed to you:
$0.25 per label for members/$0.30 for nonmembers, plus $20 handling
charge.

WAMFT Website Advertising
Washington Association for Marriage and Family
Therapy website advertising is welcome from member and nonmember
individuals, businesses, and organizations.

for appropriateness by a volunteer member designated by the Board of
Directors.

Resources” page with a prominent link to the page (including the
advertiser name) on the home page.

Advertisements will run for two months
unless specific arrangements are made with the WAMFT office.
