Ø      Confidentiality vs. Privilege

Ø      Dual relationships

Ø      Treatment of minors when one parent objects

Ø      Boundary violations

Ø      Sexual Misconduct

Ø      Most common areas of complaints

Ø      AAMFT Code of Ethics

These topics will be addressed through cases from the presenter’s own 25 years of clinical practice as well as actual cases investigated by The Washington State Department of Health.  The format will be didactic and audience participation.  Be prepared to be stimulated and challenged.

Meet the WAMFT Leadership!

“I want to extend an invitation to those of you in the region to attend this ethics
workshop.  I have been at some of Carl’s presentations and have found him to be
very knowledgeable about the topics he presents, and his teaching style is highly
interactive and friendly.
“In addition, I am happy to announce that the our WAMFT Executive Committee,
including President Scott Edwards, President-Elect Julie Wood, Treasurer
Claudia Grauf-Grounds, Secretary Karen Rowlee, and Executive Director
Kirk Roberts, will be at this workshop.  They are eager to meet us ‘East-Siders’
and answer questions we may have about the organization.
“In short, there is much to be gained by attending.  Don't miss it!”
